Kelly DeSalvo, MA, RP (Qualifying)

Life often presents challenges that can leave us feeling stuck or unsure of how to move forward. For teens and adults alike, these obstacles can feel overwhelming, and finding the right path may seem daunting. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), I am here to offer support and guidance on this journey.

With a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, I work collaboratively with my clients to develop skills and strategies that address the daily stressors, whether big or small, that can hinder our ability to take on new challenges or even manage routine tasks. I understand that it takes courage to seek help, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can confidently take the first steps toward achieving their personal goals.

I specialize in working with both teens and adults, drawing from a broad range of therapeutic techniques and approaches. My work is grounded in a biopsychosocial model, recognizing that various aspects of our lives—emotional, social, and physical—affect our mental health and overall well-being. By taking a client-centred, strength-based approach, I help individuals identify their inner resources and build resilience to navigate life's stressors with greater confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my cats, as well as unwinding with a good book. This balance of personal and professional life helps me stay grounded and energized in my role as a therapist.
