Frequently Asked Questions

How much do sessions cost and which methods of payment do you accept?

The session rate with Jenna Wood, RP is $150 for 50 minutes. The session rate for Associate Therapists is $130 for 50 minutes. A single session is billed for one (1) clinical hour - 50 minutes of therapy and 10 minutes for billing, documentation, and administration. Fleurish accepts credit card or e-transfer for payment. E-transfer payments are required prior to the start of your session. Limited spots are available at a sliding scale rate. Please inquire for more details and availability. *Alex and Kate have limited sliding scale availability.

What can I expect once I reach out to you for services?

As research suggests, one of the most crucial factors for success in therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. Before committing to an initial session, we offer a free, 15-minute consultation to determine a good fit. If you’d like to move forward, the initial session is where your therapist will gain a greater understanding of your world, and you will be provided the opportunity to share your goals and expectations of the therapeutic space.

*Services do not include diagnosis of any kind. Providing diagnostic services is out of our scope of practice as psychotherapists.

Can I claim your services through my health insurance provider?

Our services are covered by most insurance providers. However, this can vary depending on the nature of your benefits package. Therefore, I encourage you to inquire with your insurance provider to determine if your benefits package covers Registered Psychotherapy. Following each session, a receipt will be provided to you upon payment completion, which you can then submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. If you do not have insurance coverage/for any sessions that are paid out of pocket, you can claim the receipts as a medical expense during tax season.

What happens if I need to cancel my session or I miss a session?

Fleurish Psychotherapy & Wellness has a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than a 48-hour notice will be charged the full hourly rate. However, I recognize that unexpected circumstances, such as illness or family emergencies may arise; if this is the case, please contact your therapist immediately.
